Mid Del – Midwest City High School – Rose Field/Jim Darnell Stadium
Rose Field was the largest renovation of Mid-Del’s stadiums. All existing visitor bleachers, locker rooms, toilets, and concessions were removed. Most of the home bleachers were also eliminated and replaced with new aluminum seating. Both home and visitor sections were given independent concession buildings. These concession buildings also included toilets and storage areas. The Visitor building features a ticketing window and entry courtyard/flag plaza for game viewing.
The existing press box structure was remained in place and the lower areas were rebuilt to include new toilets, storage, and support spaces. A new brick and stucco exterior was built around the existing press box with new detailing, lighting, and signage to help match other new construction around the site. A new stand alone ticket building and entry walkway on the home side leads attendees towards the field from a new expanded parking lot on the south side of the complex.
The new field house building provides locker rooms for both home and visitors as well as training and staff offices. The building also features a hospitality area with viewing and access to the east end of the field between the home and visitor concessions.
